The Little Library Cookbook

The Little Library CookbookWe’re cooking up a particularly tasty treat for you with this event! Kate Young’s cookery book is bound to appeal to every avid reader: all of the recipes it contains are inspired by meals, snacks and feasts in some of Kate’s (and our!) favourite books, from childhood classics to contemporary fiction. Join us for the Scottish launch of this enticing recipe book which promises to be as much fun to read as it is to cook from…

Kate won’t just be chatting about the inspiration behind the recipes – she’ll also be baking some of her favourite treats for us, so make sure you bring along a sweet tooth!

About the book

Paddington Bear’s marmalade, a Neopolitan pizza with Elena Ferrante, afternoon tea at Manderley… Here are a hundred delicious recipes inspired by cookery writer Kate Young’s well-stocked bookshelves. From Before Noon breakfasts and Around Noon lunches to Family Dinners and Midnight Feasts, The Little Library Cookbook captures the magic and wonder of the meals enjoyed by some of our best-loved fictional characters.
