Self-professed Saviours rule much of the world, controlling their people with Big Lies, mass surveillance and brutal suppression. Now they are forging new alliances and growing even stronger. Oric and his lover Belkis are part of a rebel band devoted to fighting against the Saviours. They liberate political prisoners, organise demonstrations and warn people of looming disasters.
