"A heavenly bookshop, thoughtful and loving bookselling of the best kind."

Max Porter, author of Lanny and Grief Is The Thing With Feathers

"Golden Hare is an exemplary indie: yes, it sells loads of books but, perhaps more importantly, it is a lynchpin of the local community."

Tom Tivnan, Managing Editor of The Bookseller

"Community-focused and with a taste for translated literature, Edinburgh's Golden Hare Books is one of the city's highlights."

One of [Edinburgh's] most charming and thoughtfully curated independent booksellers.. This welcoming shop is full of charm and looks like a small gallery, where beautifully designed book-covers take centre stage.

"Golden Hare Books boasts a wall of beautifully displayed and merchandised face-out books, an inviting woodburning stove and one of the prettiest shopfronts ever."
