Pilgrim

These poems explore pilgrimage as both a journey and a return, moving from the expansive and mythological to the inward and personal. Working through Classical, English, and Chinese mythologies before finally approaching local and familial histories, the author attempts to understand her post-colonial inner world. The pilgrim who leaves is not the same person upon return.
