Hong Kong Visual Culture

M+, Hong Kong's new museum of contemporary visual culture, has been collecting objects made in or associated with Hong Kong, from neon signs and advertising ephemera to architectural plans, photographs and artworks, all of which offer new and insightful perspectives on contemporary life in Hong Kong. This book takes the reader on a journey through the collection and the cultural spaces of the city, telling the story of its past and present through the works of art and key landmarks in the city - some familiar and others lesser known.
