Launch Event for Timorous Beasties Toile Tales by Steven Richardson and Timorous Beasties - Tuesday 10th November 2026

Join us for an exclusive evening celebrating the publication of Toile Tales, the new collaboration between iconic Scottish design studio Timorous Beasties and writer Steven Richardson.

6.30pm - 8pm on Tuesday 10th November, at Timorous Beasties Showroom, 35 Northumberland Street, Edinburgh EH3 6LR.

Hosted in the Timorous Beasties Edinburgh showroom, in partnership with Golden Hare Books, this special event offers a rare opportunity to step inside the imaginative world of Toile Tales - a captivating collection of modern fables, myths and allegories inspired by twenty-one exquisite toile illustrations created by Paul Simmons, co-founder of Timorous Beasties.

The evening will include a conversation between the creators of the book, audience Q&A, and a reading from Toile Tales. There will be an opportunity to have your book signed, enjoy some refreshments, and explore the showroom.

Pre-order a copy of Timorous Beasties: Toile Tales to collect at the event and receive free entry, or choose our Ticket-Only option for £10 (which can be used towards a copy of the book at the event).

We will send an email to confirm your booking - please be sure to check your junk/spam folder!
