Anne of Green Gables

Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert are expecting a strong boy to arrive any day now to help them plough through the work at Green Gables, but to their surprise, a spindly red-haired girl knocks on their door instead. 'Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it - yet.' Anne charms her way into the Cuthberts' hearts with her big imagination and never ending chatter.
