Aurora

Aurora and her roommate, Sylvia, and three California girls form an occult group believing everything to be alive, possessed of life forces or spirits. Together they discover for better and for worse that, 'With sorcery, as everyone knows, there is no stopping it.' But even as Aurora rises above her trailer trash origins and absorbs the hidden knowledge of the ancients, will she ever escape the all-encompassing power of the patriarchy?
